
I love the squat and who wouldn’t - there is something brutally honest about. Get under the bar and try and not let it crush you.
Well for all you gym junkies out there - I have a bit of time on my hands at the moment so I tried some labcoating.
Here it is - slap on the white coat and follow me cos it works. For all you science geeks I will post some research when I have finished trying to potty train my two-year-old.
Yesterday AM did this:
Squats - 6 x 5 / 5 x 8 / Split Squats 4 x 8 each leg - pretty spent.
About 5pm (6 hours later) did the 6 x 5 and was 5% stronger. Same number of reps - but more weight. Now I understand what is going on here but take home messsage - If you can do the same workout twice in a day then do it. It works. If not, don’t stress because today I am spent.
